Job DescriptionLevel II Technician Responsibilities
+ Perform mid-level splicing for aerial, underground, and in-building cable routing
+ Interpret construction prints, drawings, and splice matrixes to meet project specifications
+ Assess equipment needs, cable routes, and safety protocols within live facilities
+ Safely execute mid-sheath cable entry using appropriate tools
+ Conduct single and ribbon splices with large cable count comprehension
+ Analyze test results and troubleshoot basic network issues
+ Operate OTDR and power meter for mid-level testing
+ Install and research procedures for splice enclosures
+ Execute cable relocations and hot cuts while maintaining organization
+ Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
+ Respond promptly to emergencies and outages with urgency
+ Adhere to safety standards in a safety-sensitive role
+ Perform additional duties as assigned
Level III Technician Responsibilities
+ Lead complex splicing projects with minimal supervision
+ Independently troubleshoot networks and deliver test result analysis
+ Create and manage project trackers using Smart Sheets and Excel
+ Interpret prints and assign tasks to other technicians
+ Gather data from pre-job inspections and field meetings
+ Support on-site project management including time, materials, and documentation
+ Communicate professionally with vendors, customers, and leadership
+ Identify and escalate project or personnel issues appropriately
+ Develop and deliver training plans for technicians
+ Promote field leadership in quality, efficiency, and safety
+ Recommend and implement process improvements across splicing operations
+ Maintain advanced safety awareness and compliance
+ Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills & CertificationsLevel II
+ 1–3+ years of ribbon/mass fusion DC splicing experience
+ OSHA 10 certification (required before start date)
+ Man lift and CPR certifications (required before start date)
+ Valid driver’s license; DOT medical card preferred
+ High school diploma or equivalent
Level III
+ 3–7+ years of ribbon/mass fusion DC splicing experience
+ OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred
+ Man lift and CPR certifications (required before start date)
+ Valid driver’s license; DOT medical card required
+ High school diploma or equivalent
Additional Qualifications
+ Expertise in fiber ribbon splicing and testing in data center environments
+ Experience with high-count cables (e.g., 6912 fibers) and OSE splicing
+ Familiarity with pre-terminated blunt pigtail integration
+ Strong safety-first mindset
+ Willingness to travel and work extended hours

Work Environment
+ Shifts: 7 AM–7 PM and 7 PM–7 AM; transitioning to three-shift rotation
+ Schedule: Options include 3 weeks on/1 week off or 6 days on/2 days off
+ Onboarding: 1–2 days of hands-on training upon arrival
+ Gear: Steel-toed boots required; all other equipment provided
+ Per Diem: $150/day; accommodation support available

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $40.00/hr.
