    Position Purpose

    The Asset Specialist manages and optimizes an organization's tangible and intangible assets throughout their lifecycle. Asset Specialists are responsible for monitoring, tracking, and evaluating the utilization, maintenance, and performance of assets to ensure their efficient use and maximize their value. They play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate records, conducting assessments, and implementing asset management strategies that minimize waste, reduce costs, and safeguard against risks associated with asset depreciation or loss. Asset Specialists are crucial in helping organizations make informed decisions regarding procurement, maintenance, and disposal of assets to enhance operational efficiency and financial sustainability.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    + An expanded knowledge of how each group within the Asset dept functions

    + An ability to navigate the organization to meet dept needs

    + Provide a level of custom service to the organization to resolve issues

    + Maintains a basic understanding of all assets withing your department

    + Desire to improve process

    + Ability to fill in multiple roles as needed

    + Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

    + Attend meetings, seminars, and training sessions as required.

    + Perform assigned duties according to the policies and expectations prescribed by the company

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Strong organization with consistent attention to detail.

    + Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly to a variety of stakeholders across all company departments.

    + Ability to quickly solve problems.

    + Ability to prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment.

    + Familiarity with basic mechanical and electrical systems.

    + Previous experience in an entertainment or similar fast-paced industry

    Working Conditions and Physical Effort

    + The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is required to frequently walk, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, stoop, and kneel each day. Specific requirements are:

    + Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

    + Must be able to lift or move 50 lbs.

    + Must be able to carry 50 lbs.

    + Must be able to pull or push 50 lbs.

    + Work conditions of the role are:

    + Work conditions may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements such as dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.

    + Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks which require following basic safety precautions.

     

    Must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work within or visit areas where required. This includes, safety glasses, reflective vest, ear plugs, safety toed shoes, and other PPE as required by the location.
