Origami Risk Management Administrator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Risk Management Information Systems Administrator to oversee and optimize the use of our Origami Risk platform. This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and usability of risk-related data, facilitating informed decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
+ Lead the implementation and ongoing management of a centralized risk management system for real-time data access and streamlined workflows.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system capabilities with business needs and drive reporting efficiency.
+ Oversee the setup, configuration, user permissions, data quality, and system updates of the Origami Risk platform.
+ Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for risk analysis, compliance tracking, and insurance processes.
+ Input, validate, and manage risk data, including property schedules, insurance policies, claims, incidents, certificates of insurance, and premium/exposure details.
+ Act as the primary contact for vendors, handling support requests, system enhancements, and troubleshooting.
+ Conduct regular audits to ensure data security, regulatory compliance, and system reliability.
+ Support claims tracking by maintaining records, generating loss reports, and coordinating updates from third-party administrators and carriers.
+ Train internal teams on system functionality, reporting tools, and data management best practices.
+ Contribute to risk-related initiatives, including automation efforts and platform upgrades.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert on the Origami Risk system’s capabilities and support broader risk management goals.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Information Systems, or related field.
+ 2+ years of experience in insurance, data analytics, and/or risk management.
+ Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and validation using formulas like VLOOKUPs.
+ Experience in data visualization using tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in workflow analysis and project management.
+ Ability to create data visuals from data sets.
+ Experience leading or managing software projects.
+ Knowledge of insurance industry practices is a plus.
Work Environment
This role operates in a beautiful waterside office in downtown Norfolk, with paid parking. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, fully on-site. Employees have the opportunity to become permanent and support large local property management initiatives.

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.87/hr.
