Job Title: Reception and Workplace Support SpecialistJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to provide backup coverage for reception and support to employees throughout the workplace. The role involves ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for employees and visitors while maintaining safety and supply standards.

Responsibilities

+ Provide backup coverage for the reception area, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for visitors and employees.

+ Support employees by providing directions, ensuring supplies are stocked, and maintaining breakrooms and conference rooms.

+ Monitor and ensure compliance with PPE and social distancing guidelines for employees returning from shelter-in-place.

+ Engage with new hires daily during their first week, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.

+ Prepare and arrange swag bags and balloons on new hires' desks for their first day.

+ Assist the client services manager with inspections and instructions regarding supply levels around the building.

+ Collaborate with the janitorial team to ensure common areas are clean and well-maintained.

+ Strategize around managing crowded locations to ensure a comfortable and organized environment.

Work Environment

This position is based on-site at a multi-building campus in Sunnyvale. The role requires a presence on-site five days a week, with working hours from 7 AM to 4 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Jose, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
