    Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics or related field

    + One (1) year professional-level research experience.

    + The candidate must have experience with animal studies, immunological assays, and cell culture-based assays.

     

    Substitution

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Master's degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics or related field

    + Two (2) years of experience in an experimental or wet laboratory. The candidate must have experience with animal studies, immunological assays, and cell culture-based assays.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    + Knowledge of basic laboratory safety procedures.

    + Experience with animal studies, immunological assays, and cell culture-based assays.

    + Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.

    + Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with

    The Morrison Laboratory at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is a dynamic, fast-paced research laboratory focused on viral immunology and medical countermeasure development (i.e., therapeutics and vaccines). We seek a new team member to take a lead role in performing cutting-edge experimental science. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic group of scientists and develop key research skills.
