    Job Title: Staff Accountant

     

    Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

    Job Summary

    The Staff Accountant provides transactional and reconciliatory support to Finance management while contributing to all functional areas of the Finance Department. This is an in-office role within a dynamic and growing construction company, offering opportunities for professional development.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Support daily financial transactions and general ledger activities

    + Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations

    + Prepare and analyze financial statements and balance sheets

    + Contribute to financial reporting and fixed asset management

    + Utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

    + Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, IF, SUMIF, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables)

    + Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP systems

    + Solid understanding of project accounting, accruals, prepaids, and financial statements

    + High level of integrity and confidentiality

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience in the construction industry

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $66000.00 - $99000.00/yr.

     

    Benefits will be provided once a decision is made and an offer is out.

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Auburn,MA.
