• (Swing Shift) SAP/MES Specialist

    (Job Description)

    A Medical Device Company located in Redmond, WA is currently hiring for a Swing Shift SAP/MES Specialist. This individual contributor role supports and maintains enterprise-wide and SaaS applications used for data collection, retrieval, accessibility, and internal departmental planning. The position requires independent judgment and professional expertise within SAP/MES, with minimal supervision, to ensure that production runs smoothly.

     

    This position will require working in the Swing Shift Monday-Thursday from 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM PST, fully onsite in Redmond, WA. Overtime opportunities available on Fridays and Saturdays. This position requires strong SAP and MES knowledge and experience with troubleshooting.

     

    Pay - $35/hr. - $38/hr. (depending on SAP/MES troublshooting experience, manufacturing industry experience, technical knowledge, job title, tenure, software...etc.)

     

    Location - Fully Onsite in Redmond, WA

     

    Shift - 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM PST (Monday - Thursday) + Overtime

     

    Contract Duration - 6 Months to Start, with potential for extension

     

    W2 Employment through Aston Carter during the Contract

    (Responsibilities)

    (Application Support)

     

    + Perform basic configuration, setup, and updates of applications, including table definitions and access control.

    + Ensure the validity of data entered into system databases and established tables/fields.

    + Build and produce reports using queries and flexible reporting tools to meet business requirements.

    + Set up user access and provide training on application usage.

    + Recommend changes in application development, maintenance, and system standards.

     

    (ERP Technical Support)

     

    + Provide front-line ERP support to manufacturing and production operations.

    + Troubleshoot, analyze, and correct issues within ERP systems.

    + Maintain and optimize ERP software for seamless business operations.

     

    (Daily Functions)

     

    + Clear IDOCs (intermediate documents) between SAP and MES.

    + Coordinate special work activities on the production floor.

    + Troubleshoot label issues for production.

    + Manage PO cancellations in MES/SAP.

    + Clear open transfer requirements in SAP’s Warehouse Activity Monitor.

    + Work with production operators to create quarantine tickets (QTs).

    + Create, correct, and modify work orders in ERP systems.

    + Act as subject matter expert in MES and SmartERP systems.

    + Participate in system upgrades, testing, and documentation.

    + Perform technical problem-solving and other duties as assigned.

    (Qualification Requirements)

    + Must have SAP/MES troubleshooting experience.

    + 3-5 years of experience.

    + Comfortable working a swing shift (Monday - Thursday from 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM PST).

    + A high preference for someone coming from a manufacturing industry.

    + Strong troubleshooting, technical, and problem-solving abilities.

    + Comfortable supporting overtime.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
