Qualifications:

1+ years of experience of b2b collections experience

Experience with Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUPS)

Experience in Sage100 preferred, but open to other ERP systems

Job Description:

The Collections Specialist is responsible for managing the company’s accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. This role plays a key part in supporting the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Proactively contact clients via phone and email to address outstanding balances and ensure timely payments

+ Analyze aging reports to align receivables with organizational cash flow targets

+ Investigate and resolve inconsistencies in payments and invoicing

+ Keep thorough records of collection efforts and payment communications

+ Partner with internal teams—including project leads and billing staff—to verify invoice accuracy

+ Generate weekly receivables summaries and contribute to month-end financial close processes

+ Identify and assist in implementing improvements to billing and collection workflows

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
