Billing Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
+ Process a high volume of invoices daily with accuracy and efficiency.
+ Review billing data for completeness and accuracy prior to invoice generation.
+ Ensure timely submission of invoices to clients via electronic portals, email, or mail.
+ Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client inquiries regarding invoices.
+ Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Finance) to ensure billing accuracy.
+ Maintain organized records of billing activities and support documentation.
+ Monitor aging reports and assist with collections as needed.
+ Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to billing.
+ Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.
+ Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
+ 2+ years of experience in billing, preferably in a high-volume environment.
+ Proficiency with billing software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
