    Accounting Administrator opportunity in Orlando FL!

    Job Description

    This Accounting Administrator role is pivotal in supporting the branch team and Branch Manager by efficiently managing the administrative functions of the branch. The position serves as the key contact point for employees, clients, regional, and corporate offices.

    Responsibilities

    + Enter new hires, rehires, and changes into the payroll system for hourly branch employees.

    + Update work orders and cost codes in the job cost system for accurate weekly labor posting.

    + Enter weekly timesheets and resolve any discrepancies with Operations Managers.

    + Run payroll edits and verify all entries for active branch employees.

    + Obtain approved billing and enter it into the billing system, print and mail invoices, and maintain billing files.

    + Run aged receivables reports weekly, follow up on overdue amounts, and determine collection strategies.

    + Issue and manage purchase orders, enter invoices into the AP system, and ensure timely vendor payments.

    + Perform general office duties including answering phones, ordering supplies, and preparing reports.

    + Maintain human resources documentation such as new hire packets, I-9 binders, and employee files.

    + Coordinate uniform ordering and workers' compensation reporting.

    + Prepare month-end materials as directed by the Controller and Branch Manager.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and billing.

    + Experience with purchase orders and month-end processes.

    + Skilled in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and formulas.

    + Experience with ERP systems like JDE, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Corporate accounting and month-end close experience within a large organization.

    + 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable and billing with high invoice volumes.

    + 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, purchase orders, and payroll processing.

    + 3+ years of experience in HR and administrative/office management functions.

    + 2+ years of experience with ERP systems.

    Work Environment

    This role requires onsite presence five days per week the Orlando FL location. The position involves some local travel once per quarter.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
