Become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at St. Joseph Medical Center!

Are you passionate about providing compassionate care and making a real difference in patients' lives? As a CNA, you'll work under the direction of a Registered Nurse, assisting with essential nursing care.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

+ **Personal Care:** Helping patients with hygiene, physical comfort, feeding, bathing, and mobility.

+ **Clinical Activities:** Preparing for procedures, monitoring and documenting patient conditions, and collecting samples.

+ **Patient Support:** Assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges, and orienting patients and families.

+ **Environment Maintenance:** Keeping a tidy and organized workspace, managing supplies, and reporting equipment issues.

+ **Safety & Quality:** Adhering to safety standards, preventing infections, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

+ **Cultural Competence:** Demonstrating cultural sensitivity and using effective communication tools to provide inclusive care.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program (or military medical specialty training).

Six months related work experience preferred.

License & Certification

Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant by the Washington State Nursing Commission.

Current healthcare provider BLS certification

Pay Range

$21.90 - $29.87 /hour
