In this role as a Technical Program Manager II, you will drive capacity excellence for Microsoft’s first-party services across Azure. You’ll set standards, streamline processes, and partner with engineering to deliver frictionless capacity solutions for critical workloads. This global-scale role offers deep technical and business exposure and strategic program leadership.

Responsibilities
+ Drive capacity strategy and supportability for Microsoft’s first-party (1P) services across prioritized Azure regions to ensure customers have a seamless and reliable cloud experience.
+ Monitor and report on customer experience using scorecards and analytics to identify improvement opportunities.
+ Collaborate with infrastructure, planning, and forecasting teams to align capacity enablement with global Azure growth strategies.
+ Partner with engineering and product teams to enhance systems and tools that enable efficient capacity planning and demand management and ultimately support timely and data-driven capacity decisions.
+ Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve blockers and deliver capacity success during critical demand periods.
+ Support field and customer success teams by advising on resource planning and optimization to drive adoption and satisfaction.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years of experience leveraging data to derive insights and improve operational efficiency.
+ 1+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team compliance projects.
+ 1+ years of proficiency in analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Kusto, or similar).
+ 1+ years of demonstrated experience with Cloud and Artificial Intelligence solutions.
Other Requirements:
+ Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
+ Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ A keen interest in deepening your knowledge about Azure products to more deeply understand our customer needs, especially in the Artificial Intelligence space.
+ Proficient stakeholder management skills across engineering, product, and field teams.
Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
