As a Software Engineer III in the Commercial Investment Banking in Fraud Analytics y ou will lead efforts to design, implement, and manage scalable and secure AWS and Kubernetes solutions, integrating AI/ML capabilities and MLOps practices to drive innovation and efficiency across our technology infrastructure.
Short Description:
As our team member, you will oversee the development and management of robust infrastructure, design and support engineering solutions focusing on AWS and Kubernetes, while integrating AI/ML models and MLOps practices to enhance our technology capabilities.
Job responsibilities: -
+ Provide strategic leadership in designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
+ Utilize AWS services such as ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS, and more to architect robust and cost-effective solutions. And collaborate with software development teams to enhance and optimize Java-based applications running on AWS and Kubernetes.
+ Lead the integration of AI/ML models into the infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability.
+ Implement MLOps practices to automate the deployment, monitoring, and management of AI/ML models.
+ Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment.
+ Identify and resolve complex issues related to AWS services, Kubernetes, Java applications, AI/ML models, and their interactions.
+ Conduct performance tuning and optimization of AWS resources to ensure optimal system performance.
+ Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Spinnaker to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
+ Ensure continuous integration and delivery best practices are followed for efficient and reliable software releases.
+ Use Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to define and manage infrastructure.
+ Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for AWS architecture, infrastructure, CI/CD processes, and AI/ML model deployment.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
+ Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
+ Formal training or certification on AWS concepts, Kubernetes Server Administration.
+ Proven and strong experience in Kubernetes Architecture.
+ Strong background in AWS services and infrastructure management.
+ Python or Java development experience.
+ Experience with observability or logging tools, i.e., Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus / Grafana, CloudWatch.
+ Drive to self-educate, evaluate new technology and understanding the 'why' and 'how' of the technology.
+ Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor and educate others on site reliability principles and practices.
+ Experience with AI/ML model and agentic framework deployment and management.
+ Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
+ Experience with containerization technologies (Preferably Docker).
+ AWS Associate Level Certificate or higher and familiarity with security best practices in AWS.
+ Familiarity with Kubernetes Helm charts
+ Knowledge of other programming languages is a plus. (Groovy, Golang, Shell, etc.)
