Job Title: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operator – 2nd Shift (Compression)
Schedule: 2nd shift, Mon–Fri, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Training: 1st shift 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $23-26/hour
Why You’ll Love This Role:
Join a cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical facility and operate high-speed tablet compression equipment (Fette, Korsch, Manesty) to produce solid oral dosage forms. You’ll gain hands-on experience with setup, operation, cleaning, and in-process testing—all while ensuring quality and safety. Training provided!
Key Responsibilities:
+ Operate and monitor tablet presses, ensuring consistent tablet weight, hardness, and appearance.
+ Perform in-process checks and maintain accurate documentation per cGMP standards.
+ Assemble, disassemble, and clean compression machines for product changeovers.
+ Collaborate with QA, Maintenance, and Manufacturing teams to meet production goals.
+ Follow SOPs, batch records, and safety protocols consistently.
What We’re Looking For:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 1–2 years manufacturing/machine operation experience; tablet compression experience a plus.
+ Mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
+ Commitment to cGMP compliance and safety protocols.
