    Job Summary

     

    This job requires the ability and desire to work in a fast paced multi tasked environment with a focus towards detail and accuracy.

     

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

     

    Primary duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

     

    + Read and interpret blueprints/sketches and prepare material accordingly

    + Adjust weld parameters and machine settings to ensure weld(s) conform with all specifications

    + Inspect weld(s) for any non-conformances, missing welds, and repair or rework as necessary, also alerting other employees if necessary

    + Perform daily machine maintenance

    + Inspect pipe for any quality issues and that end prep is correct

    + Strong math skills are frequently used

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED is required.

    + 2+ years of welding experience is required, with skill levels to obtain a 2G.

    + Basic computer skills are required.

    + 2+ years of experience reading/interpreting blueprints and drawings is a plus.
