THE POSITION
Are you interested in providing essential office support for Pennsylvania lottery licensing processes? The Department of Revenue, Bureau of Pennsylvania State Lottery, Customer Support Division is on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Management Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for processing retailer license applications, retailer change of ownership requests, and yearly license renewals. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Management Technician, you will be responsible for reviewing documentation in preparation for the licensing approval or denial process. Work involves interpreting whether requests are complete or accurate, suspending or reactivating lottery retailers, as well as identifying problems and analyzing data regarding the licensing process and making recommendations for improvement. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as you will have the opportunity to coordinate with vendors to resolve issues and secure explanations for anomaly situations, incomplete information, or inaccurate data. Additional responsibilities include:
+ Processing new applications and change of ownership documentation
+ Maintaining logs of license applications and change of ownership requests received
+ Preparing reports of licensing statistics on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis
+ Initiating deactivation of retailers per request from area offices
+ Responding to phone calls and emails regarding PA Lottery inquiries
+ Entering field paid claim forms into database

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment
+ Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
+ Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
+ Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information;or
+ Any equivalent combination of experience and training. An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.
Additional Requirements:
+ You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
+ Customer service experience
+ Call Center experience
+ Experience reading and/or reviewing business sales contracts
