    _We are looking for you to join our team as an_ **_Engineer, Process RF Systems,_** _based_ _out of_ **_Rolling Meadows, IL._**

     

    _This position will support product development in a dynamic, fast-paced, and technically challenging environment, focusing on Radio Frequency systems and requiring collaboration across functional groups. The position will include providing process support for the manufacture of the Shop Replaceable Units from received Circuit Cards, as well as supporting assembly into a payload (Line Replaceable Unit). This position will support aerial, military-grade, or space-grade Electronic Warfare Systems and Subsystems._

     

    _Building a strong professional relationship with other Manufacturing disciplines (Process Engineering, Project Management, Shop Operations, Mission Assurance), strong decision-making skills, and a high-level ethical standard is essential._

     

    **_What you'll get to do_** _:_

    + _Support to Production: Coordinate with Design Engineering, Production technician, Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Quality organizations to meet manufacturing contractual commitments. Investigate, design, and provide solutions to support nonconformance repair procedures._

    + _Process Development/Maintenance: Generate and maintain/revise Manufacturing Engineering Process Specifications, Work Instructions, Routers, Tooling/Fixturing, and Equipment._

    + _Continuous improvement: Review of quality metrics to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, cycle time, and defects._

    + _Producibility reviews: Collaborate with design engineering to achieve producibility in new and updated product designs._

    + _Ability to interface/communicate with multiple levels of leadership, clients, and vendors._

    + _Work with Microsoft Office Suite_

    _Basic Qualifications: Manufacturing Process Engineer (RF Systems)_

    + _Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience._ _or a Master of Science (MS) degree in equivalent fields._

    + _Experience either. a) creating process work instructions and/or. b) experience working in a manufacturing environment, or c) working in a design environment._

    + _Experience interpreting drawings and specifications._

    + _United States citizenship required._

    _Preferred Qualifications: Manufacturing Process Engineer (RF Systems)_

    + _Active DoD Security Clearance._

    + _Prior experience troubleshooting Circuit Card Assemblies._

    + _Proven excellence with Root Cause Corrective Action methods._

    + _Experience in developing/improving manufacturing processes for Radio Frequency (RF) Electronic Warfare products and/or equivalent._

    + _Demonstrated excellence and/or education in the use of the DMAIC process._

    _MANUMS_

    Primary Level Salary Range: $77,600.00 - $116,400.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
