Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a **Government Property and Asset Manager 1** . This position will be located in **Roy, UT** and will support the **Sentinel (GBSD) Ground Base Strategic Deterrent** program.

What You’ll Get To Do:
The **Property and Asset Management** **Manager** **1** administers property control program activities to ensure continual accountability of government, associate contractor, or company property in accordance with applicable government regulations or corporate policy. Maintains property accountability records and determines condition and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment. Contacts potential users and negotiates transfers. Conducts property audits; provides guidance on government regulations pertaining to property accountability; develops, recommends, and implements property administration policy; and prepares periodic and special purpose reports relative to such matters as taxes, rentals and leasing, insurance, facility usage, etc.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience, Master's Degree and 3 years of experience or in lieu of degree, an additional 4 years of related experience
+ 1 year experience leading projects or cross-functional teams
+ Must be willing to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret)
+ Prior experience in a Program Control environment - setting up cost control system, and monitoring costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
+ Demonstrated experience and comprehensive understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR Part 45, FAR 52.245-1, and DFARS property management clauses.
+ Ability to work with diverse levels of internal/external customers, i.e., DCMA, Prime Contractors, DoD personnel.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
+ Prior experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
+ MBA
+ National Property Management Association (NPMA) Certification as a Certified Professional Property Administrator or Manager (CPPA/M)
+ Understanding of SAP
+ Previous experience managing/supervising programs, projects, or personnel. This may be a lead position on a team.
+ Experience with Earned Value and performance measurement baseline concepts and ability to apply them to multiple contracts, CLINs, and control accounts
+ Experience with Cognos forecasting systems

Primary Level Salary Range: $84,300.00 - $126,500.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
