Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager Pricing Cost Estimating 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Global Surveillance Division. This leadership role is located in Melbourne, FL
Multi-task and manage conflicting priorities in a schedule driven environment.
• Manage proposal pricing professionals engaged in the preparation of new cost proposals, change proposals, and task/delivery orders spanning all contract types.
• Provide oversight, support to, and review of all cost proposal products, participate in strategy development, and presentation of financial data to executive leadership.
• Ensure Estimating System compliance and advise leadership of pricing requirements, obligations, and risks.
• Must be able to function in a fast-paced proposal environment and collaborate with MDC2 senior management, business management counterparts, and proposal teams ensuring compliance and schedule adherence.
• Represent the Division for major proposals, and initiatives within Pricing and Business Management to include NAR/ICE and Color Team reviews.
• Interact with personnel and management at all levels concerning matters of significance to the company related to cost proposals. Will interface and coordinate with other business management leaders and staff on a daily basis.
• Make decisions on operational issues within assigned business area(s) and manage a staff of pricing analysts and proposal pricing teams in multiple to also include mentoring, training, staff development and performance reviews.
• Provide/ensure reviews of all proposal pricing prior to delivery and senior executive reviews.
• Lead a high performing team of Pricing Analysts, provide guidance and ensure the continued development of staff.
• Roles will include both classified and unclassified proposal efforts.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of Pricing and/or Business experience or a Master's degree plus 5 years of Pricing and/or Business experience.
• Active Secret level clearance
• Experience with FAR/DFARS and other applicable government regulations.
• Experience in pricing, contracts, or business management
• Experience with U.S. Government and International proposals.
• Experience with validation of estimates, estimating approaches, customer negotiations, and data driven estimating.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Division and Sector Leadership reviews including NAR/ICE activities
• Experience with ProPricer, Eprice and BOE.NEXT
• Advanced experience Microsoft Office Suite
• Active DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
