Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a **Quality Inspector 3** to provide support to our Sentinel Team in Ogden, UT.

What You'll Get to Do:

+ Selected candidate will support Quality functions to perform required inspections and nondestructive tests (UT, MT, PT, visual, dimensional, load tests, etc.) on mechanical, electrical or structural components or systems to ensure conformance with the quality requirements for Naval reactor plants and associated systems, in support of ship construction, overhaul, refueling and repair contracts.

+ Work is performed within the confines of standardized Company and industry policies, practices and procedures.

+ This job has decision-making responsibilities with regard to the acceptance or rejection of work and tests performed and the determination of measuring equipment used.

+ The position has the authority to halt work temporarily that would affect the production operations team.

+ Errors could be critical and adversely affect the Company's competitive position.

+ Other duties may include inspects and performs tests on mechanical, electrical or structural components and assemblies related to operations.

+ Inspections vary from close tolerance dimensional checks to general surveillance of the work in progress.

+ Support final acceptance of products and goods from manufacturing or suppliers.

+ Support our Quality Engineers in any nonconformance control duties and further root cause & corrective action efforts.

+ Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications:

+ High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.

+ 3 years working in manufacturing environment.

+ Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.)

+ Experience with non-conformance control processes & execution.

**Preferred Qualifications** :

+ IPC certified

+ A current/Active Secret clearance

+ Experienced with SAP & MES

Primary Level Salary Range: $51,200.00 - $85,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
