    Job Description

    Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master with our client in Minneapolis, MN.

     

    Seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master to lead strategic data ingestion and analytics workstreams supporting transformational initiatives across multiple business and operations units. This role requires strong leadership, executive communication skills, and a deep understanding of data, financial services, and agile delivery. You will manage large-scale projects, collaborate with IT, vendors, and business stakeholders, and deliver high-impact solutions in a matrixed environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead complex data ingestion/consumption and analytics projects across operations, branch processing, integration, and front-office systems.

    + Deliver initiatives involving vendor product integration, in-house development, new technologies, regulatory changes, and business efficiency goals.

    + Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and staffing plans; monitor progress using KPIs and escalate risks as needed.

    + Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning) and apply hybrid delivery methods (Agile & Iterative Waterfall).

    + Drive stakeholder communication and reporting, including presentations to Senior Directors and VPs.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including vendors, internal IT, product, and business units.

    + Oversee financial management and value tracking for data and analytics initiatives.

    + Ensure robust risk assessments and contingency planning are in place and executed.

    Must-Have Qualifications:

    + 10+ years of project management experience, including large-scale programs ($20MM+).

    + 5+ years managing data ingestion, analytics, or processing solutions in financial services.

    + Strong understanding of brokerage technology and data concepts.

    + Executive presence with excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

    + Proven experience leading Agile teams and delivering through SDLC methodologies.

    + Advanced knowledge of risk, issue, and change management practices.Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field.

    + Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or equivalent.

    + Background in Wealth Management or experience with data migration/architecture.

     

    The base hourly range for this contract position is $60-$90 per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
