    Report to: Manager, Executive Office

     

    Compensation: $28.03 - $32.98/Hour

     

    FLSA: Non-Exempt

     

    All candidates must be within commutable distance of SEO’s offices at 55 Exchange Place, New York, NY 10005, upon hire.

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to Executive Committee (EC) members (i.e., CEO and their direct reports) by conducting research, preparing ad-hoc reports, handling information requests and performing clerical functions.

     

    + Serve as the liaison for the Manager of Executive Office to various departments across SEO.

    + Provide administrative support as required, including but not limited to, maintaining calendars, greeting visitors, coordinating travel arrangements, preparing and submitting expense reports, and organizing communications.

    + Schedule, coordinate, and prepare for Executive and Board meetings and other recurring or ad-hoc meetings.

    + Maintain files, records, and correspondence for various meetings.

    + Research, collect and/or analyze data to prepare documents for EC members’ review and presentation.

    + Collaborate with Executive Office team members in daily work tasks, including coverage and problem solving.

    + Assist in preparing documentation for fiscal and regulatory authorities, as needed.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred.

    + 2-3 years of experience in mid-level administration, business, management, or related field.

    + Direct experience working within a nonprofit organization or early-stage start-up environment is strongly preferred.

    + Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).

    + Ability to work effectively with all levels of management.

    + Excellent organization and time management skills.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

    + A self-starter able to take initiative, think creatively, and work independently with a driven and motivated work ethic.

    + Attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through skills are of the highest importance.

    + Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and expertly problem solve.

    + Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a discreet manner.
