OverviewAmergis Educational Staffing seeks an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to provide specially designed instruction for 2–8 students ages 3–5 in an inclusive classroom supported by 3 instructional assistants. Strong focus on data collection, IEP documentation, and family rapport.

Key Responsibilities

+ Deliver individualized instruction and tutorial assistance

+ Collect, analyze, and enter data into IEPs; provide progress reports within 48 hrs feedback window

+ Collaborate with staff during weekly team planning day

+ Build relationships with students and families

+ Support classroom team and follow behavior supports (mild–moderate behaviors)

Qualifications

+ Valid OR special education teaching license or ability to obtain one

+ Bachelor’s degree preferred

+ Minimum 1 year teaching experience preferred

+ LBS1 endorsement preferred

+ CPR, TB/PPD, health certificate as applicable

+ Must meet federal, state, and local employment requirements; 18+ years old
