School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Grade Levels: Elementary
Caseload: Approximately 30–40 students
Schedule: ASAP – May 29, 2025 | Monday–Friday, 8:25 AM – 4:00 PM
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide school-based therapy services to elementary students across two school sites in Zion, IL. This is a full-time opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive educational environment.
Role Overview:
The SLP will be responsible for conducting student evaluations, delivering individualized therapy services, and documenting progress in accordance with each student’s plan of care and physician’s orders. This role is essential in helping students develop the communication skills necessary for academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students
+ Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
+ Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
+ Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to support student needs
+ Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations
Minimum Requirements:
+ Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License (required)
+ Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) (preferred; may be required by contract)
+ Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
