Job Description:
Seeking a Systems Project Engineer to support the F-15 Electronic Warfare Capability in St. Louis, Missouri: one of our largest, most dynamic sites with a broad business portfolio.

The selected candidate will serve as the main point of contact to the Electronic Warfare customer and leadership for various programs. The candidate will maintain technical management of the project by preparing project plans and tracking status using various tools that provide metrics. It is expected that daily communication and coordination with both the customer and leadership is part of the battle rhythm.
Develops and validates requirements for various complex communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components. Develops and validates electromagnetic requirements for electrical\electronic systems, mechanical systems, interconnects and structures. Develops architectures to integrate complex systems and components into higher level systems and platforms. Performs complicated trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component, interconnects and system performance and to optimize design around established requirements. Defines and conducts critical tests of various kinds to validate performance of designs to requirements. Manages appropriate aspects of critical supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance to requirements. Provides support to products throughout their lifecycle from manufacturing to customer use by providing guidance and support to resolve complex issues. Supports project management by providing coordinating development of work statement, budget, schedule and other required inputs and conducting appropriate reviews. Generates major sections of proposals to support development of new business. Works under minimal direction. Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads capability proposal activity from Request for Proposal (RFP) through submittal.
Coordinates with technical leads, other program product teams, suppliers and Global Services to ensure project statement of work is executed on time.
Identifies and maintains day-to-day oversight of cost, schedule and performance metrics to be briefed to leadership.
Maintains working-level customer relationships.
Manages and ensures deliverables are submitted on time.
Plans, identifieds and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program
Defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity
Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned.
Provides technical, business and integration for the development and exectuion of project to team plans.
Basic Qualifications (Required):
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
Minimum of 9 or more years of related work experience with a Bachelor's
Minimum of 7 or more years of related work experience with a Masters
Minimum of 4 or more years of related work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
Direct Program or Project management experience
Hardware engineering experience
Experience with communication with both internal and external customers
Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
Education / Experience:
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
