A Day in the Life
The Senior Commercial Enablement Manager will serve as an integral member of both the Global Commercial Enablement (GCE) team and the Global DT Organization. This role is responsible for supporting the commercialization of our Global Digital Technologies (DT) platform globally, while also leading or contributing to various global initiatives.
Commercial Enablement is tasked with supporting Medtronic’s goal to expand the DT footprint globally, with this role focusing on both stand-alone DT sales and integration with Hugo RAS. The Senior Commercial Enablement Manager is responsible for establishing end-to-end processes that facilitate the marketing, sales, installation, service, training, and support of a DT system in new countries. Program management and oversight of essential deliverables are included as part of this role, contributing to the effective commercialization of DT and any related post-launch initiatives worldwide. The position also emphasizes ongoing process improvement and the implementation of change management.
Reporting to the Global Director Commercial Enablement, this role requires independence, multitasking, and clear communication with internal and external teams. The candidate should offer both business and technical expertise for comprehensive launch and post-launch support.
This role works with cross-functional teams and Project Managers to develop project plans, timelines, and reports. Responsibilities include budget tracking, risk management, updating documentation, managing dashboards, scheduling meetings, and following up on action items.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Drive all activities related to Commercial Enablement and Program management for product launch and post-launch support for all global countries in scope.
+ Being a satellite function for the Global PMO to support/drive global programs.
+ Work with Project Managers and cross functional team members to identify, resolve or escalate project issues, develop and implement mitigation plans, and remove obstacles.
+ Create and maintain commercialization process flows, risk registers, plans, schedules and dashboards.
+ Proactive planning, budgeting, anticipating project needs and supporting with execution path.
+ Agile and rapidly adapt in a dynamic environment with a comfort level working with teams in various locations globally.
+ Lead weekly commercial performance reporting through SFDC (Salesforce) and Power BI, consolidating global pipeline insights, driving data quality and ensuring regional teams are accountable for timely and accurate submissions
+ Solution-focused and resourceful. Self-starter with solid problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills.
+ Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
+ Make sound judgements with minimal guidance.
+ Effectively communicate with various levels of the organization to include being comfortable presenting in meetings.
+ Take swift action communicating timing of deliverables, milestones, weekly status, recaps and action items for internal team and clients.
+ Ability to connect the dots and work with partial information, with a knack of making long-term informed decisions
+ Advocate the Medtronic Mission and culture to motivate and empower others to address them in a way which builds morale and generates ownership.
REQUIREMENTS:
+ Experience in directly managing teams or at least extensive knowledge in leading indirect teams.
+ Experience in supply chain / marketing operations / sales operations / service operations would be a plus.
+ Experience working with global cross functional teams.
+ Authentic communicator and collaborator.

+ Ability to provide positive yet critical feedback
+ Strong organizational and time management skills for both individual and team tasks.
+ Ability to interpret, analyze and translate information, and present in clear, concise and complete manner.

+ Experience using project management tools, including Microsoft Project.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Business / Operations / Marketing.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
+ 10+ years of Project Management or Engineering experience.
+ 3-5 years of Leadership skills.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
+ Knowledge of mapping process flow or/and value stream mapping, building project plans and schedules, business and sales operations, new product development process are vital for the success in this role.
+ Experience with Microsoft suite of tools (Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Experience running SFDC (Salesforce) and Power BI
+ Able to influence all customers (both internal and external) on issues that impact the business and its technical service and product strategies.

+ This position is to be located in Europe, with a mix of working at the office and at home and/or other locations. Some Regional / International travel will be required.

Office environment where the employee would be standing and sitting most of the day at a desk or in a conference room for meetings.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$143,200.00 - $214,800.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
