    At Logan Health Primary Care in the heart of Columbia Falls, our purpose is simple: quality, compassionate care for all. As our new Patient Care Scheduler, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes force helping our patients navigate the system, keeping appointments on track, providers connected, and our clinic running smoothly. With your strong organizational skills and service-oriented mindset, you’ll play a key role in how our patients experience care — every day.

    What You’ll Do

    + Accurately schedule and coordinate patient visits, tests, treatments, and follow-up appointments according to clinic protocols and individual patient needs.

    + Use our electronic health record system and scheduling tools to manage provider calendars, room availability, and cross-department referrals.

    + Communicate with patients, families, and care teams clearly and compassionately to ensure seamless access and experience.

    + Monitor and address scheduling issues, work collaboratively with front-office staff, providers, and ancillary departments to optimize patient flow.

    + Assist with patient registration tasks, verify insurance and authorizations when needed, and support department initiatives to enhance access and efficiency.

    + Participate in team meetings, process improvements and continuous-quality efforts focused on scheduling operations.

    What You’ll Bring

    + High school diploma or GED (required).

    + Post-high-school education, vocational training in healthcare, or previous healthcare/customer-service scheduling experience preferred.

    + Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite, strong ability to learn specialized scheduling/EHR software.

    + Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, able to work both independently and as part of a team.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professionalism and discretion in handling confidential patient information (HIPAA compliance).

    + Ability to adjust to changing schedules, high patient volumes, and shifting priorities while maintaining a calm, service-focused approach.

    Shift:

    Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)

     

    Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
