Position Overview:
The Vice President of Digital and Social Media Strategy will lead the Chamber’s digital transformation across platforms, driving innovative strategies that amplify the organization’s voice, engage key audiences, and support advocacy and policy goals. The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and executing integrated digital campaigns, overseeing social media strategy, and ensuring alignment with the Chamber’s broader communications and public affairs objectives. The candidate will also assist in the strategic development and deployment of marketing strategies to drive member value and growth.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
+ Develop and implement a comprehensive digital and social media strategy that supports the Chamber’s mission, advocacy priorities, and brand.
+ Serve as a senior adviser on digital engagement to executive leadership and policy teams.
+ Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure that digital efforts are integrated across departments and aligned with organizational goals.
Digital Campaigns and Content Strategy
+ Oversee the creation and execution of high-impact digital campaigns across paid, earned, and owned media.
+ Guide content development for web, email, video, and social platforms to drive engagement and influence.
+ Ensure messaging consistency and brand integrity across all digital touchpoints.
Social Media Strategy and Execution
+ Lead the Chamber’s social media presence across platforms, including LinkedIn,
X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, and emerging channels.
+ Develop platform-specific strategies to grow audiences, increase engagement, and support real-time advocacy.
+ Monitor trends and analytics to optimize performance and inform future strategy.
Analytics and Performance
+ Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.
+ Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and demonstrate impact to internal stakeholders.
Team Leadership and Development
+ Manage a team of digital strategists, content creators, and social media professionals.
+ Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
+ Partner with HR and senior leadership to recruit, retain, and develop top digital talent.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public affairs, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
+ 15+ years of experience in digital strategy, social media, or integrated communications, preferably in public affairs, advocacy, or policy environments.
+ Proven success leading digital campaigns that drive measurable impact.
+ Deep understanding of digital platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems.
+ Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
+ Experience working with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
+ Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and storytelling.
+ Strong grasp of the policy and political landscape.
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

The salary range for this position is $173,774.00 to $225,000.00, with the possibility of additional compensation through a discretionary bonus. The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors. Our full-time employees are eligible for benefits, including health care, vision, dental, retirement, and paid leave.
