Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Support Specialist to join our team, providing essential support to Corporate Safety, Power Delivery Safety, and Industrial Hygiene. This role involves a variety of responsibilities including arranging travel, planning and coordinating events and meetings, overseeing budgets, managing calendars, preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations, and generating basic reports from Safety databases. Additionally, you will handle compliance-related duties, such as maintaining Driver Qualification files and training records, purchasing supplies, and assisting with special projects. The position requires handling highly confidential information with the utmost integrity and ethics.
Education Requirements:
+ High School diploma required
+ An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is advantageous
Experience Requirements:
+ Preferably 3-4 years of experience in an administrative assistant role
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Forms, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, with experience in calendar management and meeting planning
+ Familiarity with programs such as Oracle and Maximo; knowledge of SharePoint and Power Apps is a plus

+ Proven experience in administrative support, including arranging conferences, travel, and meetings, as well as preparing reports and managing calendars. Capable of handling multiple assignments and delivering results within specified deadlines for both recurring and ad-hoc tasks, with minimal supervision.
+ Ability to manage multiple calendars simultaneously.
+ Highly organized and disciplined; able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Proactive with a sense of urgency.
+ Executes tasks with precision and accuracy.
