Job Description
As a valued colleague on our Internal Communications team, you will provide advice and guidance on designing and coordinating internal communication strategies. In this role, you will maintain communications policies and procedures, drive genuine engagement, and enable employees to connect the work they do to the results we deliver together. The Internal Communications Senior Associaterole will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
* Support the creation, implementation, and oversight of strategic communications campaigns that support enterprise priorities.
* Partner with business units and program teams to develop tailored communications strategies that drive awareness, alignment, and employee engagement.
* Support business partners in advancing their strategic communications goals, change management efforts, and employee engagement initiatives.
* Inform and inspire employees by translating complex business topics into compelling, data-driven storytelling across internal channels.
* Collaborate with External Communications and Marketing colleagues to deliver integrated, cross-functional campaigns.
* Take ownership of communications deliverables - from concept through execution - ensuring quality, consistency, and impact.
* Apply independent thinking and sound judgement to make decisions and solve problems in a dynamic environment.
* Contribute to internal editorial planning and enterprise-wide campaigns, including blogs, creative briefs, and feature articles.
*THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM*
*Minimum Required Experiences *
* 2 years related experience in Internal Communications in a corporate environment required.
* Proven experience developing and executing internal strategic communications plans across a business segment or enterprise.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, including copywriting, planning and distributing content across multiple channels.
* Ability to connect communications strategies to broader business goals and priorities.
* Skilled at presenting complex information in a clear, engaging, and accessible way.
* Proven ability to demonstrate creativity in developing employee engagement strategies - from initial brainstorming through promotion and execution.
* Passion for continuous learning, building relationships, and collaborating with a high-performing, diverse team.
* Experience measuring communications impact and adapting strategies meet evolving priorities and feedback.
* Background in supporting organizational change, aligning communications with strategic objectives, and addressing employee sentiment.
* Strong relationship management skills with the ability to effectively influence, negotiate, facilitate meetings, and resolve conflicts effectively.
* Skilled in collaborating across Microsoft Office Suite and experience using metrics tracking programs.
*Desired Experiences *
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Area of study - communications, marketing, or public affairspreferred.
* 5-6 years related experience.
* Prior experience supporting internal employee engagement and change management communications initiatives or campaigns.
* Ability to work with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively towards a common goal.
* Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion.
* Experience using SharePoint content management, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar CRM), Adobe Workfront or digital signage software a plus.

Target Pay Range: $94,000 - $121,000 a year

The hiring range for this role is set forth below. Final salaries will generally vary within that range based on factors that include but are not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant qualifications. This position is eligible to participate in a Fannie Mae incentive program (subject to the terms of the program).
