    This position is primarily remote, with occasional visits to a local office or our corporate headquarters for team-building, training, and collaborative project work. These on-site sessions are designed to strengthen connections, share insights, and ensure a seamless experience for our team and customers. Equipment pick-up from a local branch will be required. We will provide advance notice whenever on-site attendance is required, making these times purposeful and rewarding.

    As the Staff Technical Program Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional partners to define requirements and document solutions that enable our teams to deliver with quality and speed.

    A successful candidate will work with business partners to identify, bring clarity to problems and needs, be able to effectively influence up and across the organization, and have a consistent track record of delivering results by applying and utilizing insights and analytics.

     

    This role offers an opportunity to continuously make critical process and technical decisions that will enable Sunrun to continue to differentiate our offering from the competition and continue to be a leader in an ever changing landscape.

    Responsibilities:

    + Consistent and transparent communication with peers, stakeholders, and leadership regarding overall program updates and corporate functions.

    + Strong sense of ownership and demonstrated maturity to own multiple critical SaaS Products services and Program delivery.

    + Must be an extremely well organized leader (Verbal & Written) with excellent presentation skills to explain key concepts and decisions to large audiences.

    + Must possess an innovative mindset with problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose solutions.

    + Ability to lead the efficient delivery of projects and define organizational product and program roadmap goals.

    + Ability to understand, interpret, and author technical solution design/architecture artifacts into Program milestones for delivery.

    + Positive attitude to correcting system challenges or ambiguous business requirements with a hands on approach.

    + Outstanding leadership and professionalism with Contractors, Vendors, Business Stakeholders, and Technical Team resources.

    + Analyze, quantify, and scope technical requirements and effectively prioritize technical program deliverables.

    + Articulate common business and system data models with ability to document, define, and translate both as-is and to-be state user and data flows.

    + Drive incremental program, product, process and technical improvement for Sunrun services.

    + Be highly autonomous and communicative with a long-term vision and big picture approach to program and product decisions.

    + Collaborate with stakeholders and end users to define requirements that benefit customers and corporate stakeholders.

    + Apply first-principles / critical thinking to challenge assumptions (such as functional requirements and solution designs).

     

    An ideal candidate for this role has extensive experience in articulating and clearly defining innovative customer-facing features dependent on real-time data needs. In this role, you will partner with Engineers, Sales, Business, Scientists and UX designers to create innovative customer and business experiences.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum:

    + 7-10+ Years working as a Program Manager delivering programs, products, and technology services.

    + 7-10+ Years Experience working with Full Stack SaaS Cloud/Device platforms (AWS, SFDC, Azure, Snowflake)

    Preferred:

    + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field (Masters preferred) or equivalent work related experience.

    + 5+ Years Experience within an Energy Industry

    + Extensive Program Delivery and Product management of customer facing products.

    + Technology background or proficiency in Renewable Energy hardware (Panel/Inverter/Battery).

    + Proficiency with Business/Collab/TPM tools (SFDC, Atlassian, Lucidcharts)

    _Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:_

     

    188,520.49 to 226,224.59
