Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Developer with deep expertise in Sage X3 to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality technical solutions within the Sage X3 ERP system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture and business process analysis, coupled with a hands-on ability to code and customize Sage X3 to meet evolving business needs.
*This position is remote, but will require 30–40% travel to interact with stakeholders, collaborate with teams, and support project deployments.
Key Responsibilities
+ Develop and Customize Sage X3 applications using 4GL, Java, SQL, and other relevant technologies.
+ Architect Technical Solutions that optimize business processes, ensure system scalability, and comply with best practices.
+ Collaborate with Business Users to understand requirements and develop solutions that increase process efficiency and data integrity.
+ Document Functional and Technical Designs and ensure alignment with overall ERP architecture.
+ Integrate Sage X3 with third-party applications and services as required.
+ Troubleshoot and Debug technical issues, providing timely resolutions.
+ Participate in Code Reviews, Testing, and Quality Assurance efforts to maintain system stability and performance.
+ Stay Current with Sage X3 Developments, modules, patches, and best practices.
+ Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers and cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
+ 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining solutions in Sage X3 ERP.
+ Strong understanding of Sage X3 architecture, development tools (4GL, SAFE X3, Crystal Reports), and integration techniques.
+ Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and other web technologies.
+ Demonstrated experience in solution design and software architecture.
+ Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with non-technical stakeholders.
+ Willingness and ability to travel up to 30–40% as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or field services environments.
+ Knowledge of Sage X3 finance, distribution, or production modules.
+ Familiarity with cloud-hosted ERP environments and API-based integrations.
+ Experience with Agile methodologies.
+ Familiarity with AWS managed service and technologies.
