MENTOR Adult Day Health, a member of the Sevita family, provides day programs for elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs. This allows seniors to obtain quality healthcare while remaining active and involved in the community and continuing to live in their own homes. Our programs are staffed with qualified, experienced licensed nurses and caregivers who are trained to provide individual assistance to each person we serve.
Assistant Program Director – Adult Day Health Program
**Location:** Dorchester, MA
**Schedule:** Monday–Friday | 8:00AM–4:00PM
**Salary:** $55,000
Bilingual in Cape Verdean or Portuguese preferred
Are you an experienced human services professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for helping others? Join our team as the **Assistant Program Director (ADH Supervisor)** and play a vital role in improving the lives of adults through quality medical, social, and recreational services.
In this key leadership role, you will oversee daily program operations, guide staff development, ensure regulatory compliance, and support a compassionate, engaging environment for participants.
Key Responsibilities
+ Supervise and manage daily operations of the Adult Day Health program.
+ Develop and implement program goals, policies, and procedures.
+ Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure high-quality care.
+ Oversee fiscal management, billing, and compliance with all DHHS regulations.
+ Recruit, train, and evaluate program staff; foster a positive team culture.
+ Support care delivery, advocate for participants, and maintain safety standards.
+ Collaborate with families, service providers, and community partners.
Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ Minimum **2 years of managerial experience** and **2 years of experience working with adults** in a health care setting.
+ CPR and First Aid certification.
+ Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
+ Self-motivated team player with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
+ **Bilingual skills in Cape Verdean or Portuguese** strongly preferred.
