Role Responsibilities:
+ Assist with design tasks for the completion of building automation systems.
+ Assist with documentation of the BAS design (i.e., submittals) and revision control of the resultant documents.
+ Assist with site-specific configuration of the WebCTRL system (using SiteBuilder).
+ Assist with the programming of control algorithms.
+ Assist with the development of graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems (using Eikon and ViewBuilder).
+ Assist with final documentation of the building automation system that incorporates all changes made since the issuance of the submittal.
+ Clear communication and proactive expectation setting with manager and internal project teams.
+ Adherence to safety standards. High regard for employee and subcontractor safety.
+ Adherence to ethics standards. Exemplifies the Carrier code of ethics.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Must be currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Engineering, HVAC Controls, OR Construction Management
+ Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
+ Must have a valid and current Driver’s License and be insurable by our company’s insurance carrier
+ Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Prior experience in Construction, HVAC and/or Building Automation
+ Team player with a positive attitude.
+ Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, Access and other Windows products
+ Experience with Microsoft Visio (other CAD software acceptable).
+ Ability to report to assigned work location reliably.
+ Able to balance multiple concurrent priorities.
+ Aptitude for problem-solving.
+ Time management skills, including the ability to estimate the time required to complete tasks and deliver on the committed timeline.
+ Competent verbal and written communicator. Aptitude for translating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
