    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a seasoned Kafka Architect to lead enhancements and support for a high-volume consumer framework built on Kafka. The environment is already established and governed by an internal team, with ongoing modernization efforts in the Sales Process and plans to extend Kafka usage across multiple projects in 2026. This person will be responsible for solutioning and enhancing a Kafka-based messaging system that supports large-scale data flows. This person will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to extend Kafka capabilities to additional business units.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Over 8 years as an architect

     

    - More than 5 years of Kafka-specific expertise - Deep, hands-on experience (currently using Google Kafka, with potential migration to Apache Kafka)

     

    - Java, Spring Boot, Microservices

     

    - General cloud proficiency (no specific platform mentioned required)

     

    - Actively involved in hands-on development - GCP

     

    - Retail/Ecommerce Experience

     

    - Integration Experience
