Job Description
An employer is looking for a part-time IT Support Specialist to help support a non-profit organization in San Francisco, CA. Our client provides case worker services to people who are unhoused or living with complex health needs. We are seeking a reliable IT Specialist to provide part-time technical support and
assist with maintaining secure, functional systems for their growing team. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable supporting a small nonprofit environment using Microsoft 365, OneDrive, Apple, and basic HIPAA compliance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and maintain staff computers, tablets, and phones
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues (Microsoft 365, OneDrive, Teams, printers, Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc.)
• Manage user accounts, password resets, and device access
• Assist with implementing security updates and backups
• Support leadership with IT documentation and equipment tracking
• Set up firewall and upkeep with maintenance of security in office setting with cloud based systems.
• Have oversight over security and alignment with SFCV policies and rules.
-Position is hybrid but may need to come onsite as needed or 1x a week to help with specific issues.
-Part-time - 15 hours a week (open to candidates that are only available in the afternoon/evenings and weekends)
-Paying between 35-40/HR

Skills and Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows and Apple environments (Intune, Azure)
• Familiarity with data protection and HIPAA privacy standards preferred
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and respond to requests
