    Job Description

    The Manager Assistant (MA) in the Enterprise CRM solutions (eCRMs) plays a critical role in supporting the eCRMs Vice President and their organization by contributing to a broad range of activities, including strategy, business planning, communications, and organizational management.

     

    The MA will be an integral part of the Executive Office and will report to the eCRMs VP. This individual will work across a wide range of initiatives to help ensure the smooth running of the office. The role is ideal for a quick learner and self-starter who has a proven record of excellence operating independently and within a high-performing team environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Maintain a clear understanding of work happening across the eCRMs leadership team and support in prioritizing these initiatives.

     

    Partner with VP to define, communicate, and drive execution of the strategic priorities and long-term vision for eCRMs.

     

    Draft impactful and executive-ready communications, presentations, and talking points for various executive audiences including CIO, EVP Steercos, and other senior leaders to support key business reviews, enterprise forums, and strategic discussions.

     

    Support the VP with business planning and operational processes driven through (leadership team meetings, PMP, hiring management, etc.).

     

    Design and oversee processes to ensure the smooth running of the office, such as hiring approvals and reporting, trip planning, and rewards & recognition programs.

     

    Manage relationships with the eCRMs leadership team, the ICRST Executive Office, and MAs in other lines of business

     

    Address ad hoc requests and requirements from the ICRST Executive Office

     

    Generate internal communication content (Town Halls, Q&A Colleague Forums, roundtables)

    Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks, demonstrating excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

     

    Proven ability to navigate effectively and efficiently within American Express, with a solid understanding of Amex businesses, processes, and operations.

     

    Demonstrated project management, organizational, and planning skills applied in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

     

    Strong analytical and financial skills.

     

    Demonstrated experience building relationships and influencing upward and outward, coupled with confident independence.

     

    Active listening, summarization, and lateral thinking skills to identify and respond to emerging opportunities.

     

    Proven ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

     

    Humility and a willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and assist wherever needed.

     

    Ability to handle confidential information with complete discretion.
