Job Description

A client in the Austin/San Antonio area is seeking a Fire Alarm System Design Manager to join their team for a permanent role. In this role, they will be responsible for designing and developing fire alarm system using either CAD, Bluebeam, will create detailed layouts & schematics for commercial fire alarm installations, and ensure designs comply with NFPA codes, local regulations, and client specifications. They will also help guide the South Texas designers on different project initiatives across multiple locations. You will review and approve design plans as an APS (Fire Alarm Planning Superintendent). The candidate will need to have their APS license and either their NICET 3 or NICET 4 certifications. Additionally they will need to have prior design team leadership experience.
