Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our client's team in the hospitality industry to help build and modernize digital platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on technical environment, is passionate about architecture and performance optimization, and enjoys mentoring others while driving delivery excellence.

This person will play a key role in their digital re-platforming initiative, helping to build new mobile and web applications from the ground up. This includes introducing Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) architecture, improving performance, and preparing the team for a transition from legacy systems to modern cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to the architecture and development of scalable web and mobile applications.

Build and maintain middleware for VML and BLL, including mobile BFFs to enhance performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across the tech stack.

Support the transition from Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) on-prem to AEM as a Cloud Service (ACS).

Coach and mentor junior developers, filling knowledge gaps and fostering a collaborative team culture.

Drive delivery of high-quality code and solutions aligned with business goals.

Skills and Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in full stack development or software architecture.

Strong hands-on expertise with:

React (web)

React Native (mobile)

NestJS (Node.js backend)

AWS (cloud infrastructure)

Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) – both on-prem and AEMaaCS (AEM as a cloud service)

Middleware integration for VML and BLL (Business Logic Layer), especially in performance-sensitive environments.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and mentor others. Bachelor’s degree in a related field; additional certifications are a plus.

Local to Phoenix, AZ or West coast time zones preferred

Prior involvement in digital transformation or re-platforming projects.

Experience with legacy systems and functional knowledge of AEM on-prem.
