Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Financial Analyst II to join its organization.
Responsibilities:
Support various Precision Guided Munitions programs.
Work closely with the program and financial teams in developing and analyzing key financial measures
Assess contract profitability and ensuring compliance to accounting systems.
Assemble financial data for inclusion in contract reviews, forecasts, and variance explanations with some supervision.
Ensure understanding of financial data and methodologies.
Demonstrate knowledge of accounting, billing and finance
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Bachelor Degree with 2 years of experience OR equivalent education/experience
+ Interpersonal and communication skills used to interface with program management and financial analysts
+ Ability to develop solutions to relatively complex problems using ingenuity and innovation
+ Ability to prioritize and manage multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment
+ Understanding of program costs, revenue recognition, profit, cash and collections
+ Computer competency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Understanding of billing system
+ Proficiency in Oracle and Hyperion
+ DOD Accounting experience
+ Willingness to go the extra mile
+ EVMS Knowledge
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $66084 - $112343
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
