Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Process Engineer to work on site in La Vergne, Tennessee. Our client is a global fortune 500 technology manufacturing & design company that is building cloud computing technologies for the world's largest search engine, online retailer and social media companies and working in the computer and electronics manufacturing industry. The Process Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end processes related to CCBU operation. The Process Engineer will develop processes and identify the equipment required to establish best in class manufacturing operation in parallel with defining routings, physical and systemic process flows. The Engineer will be responsible for the identification, evaluation, selection, procurement, and qualification of equipment utilized in the CCBU Operation.
- Develop and implement process improvements to improve product and process quality, output, cycle time, productivity and equipment downtime.
- Support new product introduction and processes into production.
- Develop the process for the introduction of new products and changes to operations.
- Resolve daily production issues with short and long-term solutions.
- Identify and implement new methods or equipment aimed at improvements in yields, turnaround time, reliability and costs.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives within the plant, utilizing methodologies like Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to solve complex manufacturing and service problems.
- Evaluate and enhance processes based on data and statistical analysis.
- Develop and implement projects to reduce cycle time, improve productivity, and minimize equipment downtime.
- Manage the design and implementation of automation solutions, working with the engineering team to introduce new technologies.
- Write and review work instructions and operational procedures for existing and new processes.
- Actively participate in training and development of personnel, ensuring that new processes and improvements are understood and followed.
- Lead process improvement projects, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and productivity enhancements.
- Perform cost analysis and suggest cost improvement ideas for production and service areas.
- Support troubleshooting activities and recommend solutions for manufacturing and service-related quality or process issues.

Skills and Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or related Engineering field
• Minimum 3 years of Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, CAD software and/or related software · 2+ years of experience in electronics industry preferred
