Job Description
Insight Global is currently seeking an Electrical Designer for one of its commercial clients in the greater Grand Rapids, MI area. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting electrical systems for various commercial, industrial, and institutional construction projects. The Electrical Engineer will ensure that all electrical designs and installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and customer requirements. This position requires close collaboration with project managers, estimators, field leaders, and clients to develop cost-effective, safe, and constructible electrical solutions.
This is a full-time position offering an annual base salary range of $75,000 - $110,000. Additionally, the role may include a comprehensive benefits package, encompassing healthcare insurance and paid leave, in accordance with applicable laws.

Skills and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related discipline required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical design within a construction or contracting environment (design-build experience preferred).
• EIT required; PE license preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical analysis tools (e.g., SKM PowerTools, ETAP, or EasyPower).
