    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Product Designer with a background in design project management skills to support a portfolio of work that supports a customer facing mobile application. Candidates need to be local to NJ or NYC, to work in a hybrid model. Candidates will be joining a Home Application team that supports different portfolios within the customer facing application. The role will be focused on a mix of design management, design process and design system tasks. On a day to day candidates can expect to e working in an agile environment, support design Jira tickets, doing design roadmap work for new features of the application, working within the design system to maintain the design library and create new components, as well as VQA to review design work for the application. Candidates will be working within a fast paced environment, meeting with product partners, content and research teams, as well as other design partners. This is a consumer facing application, so candidates should understand the user and have experience designing applications that connect with a physical product consumers use. From a day to day standpoint, 50% of the candidates time will be spent concepting new features and executing on design work and the other 50% of the time will be focused on design process management, design project management. In this role candidates will work with a Principal Designer and be aligned to a track of work to help own the end to end design process. It is important that candidates understand what it takes to launch a digital product to market and are comfortable dealing with ambiguity.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    5+ years of responsive Product design experience

     

    Excellent experience with Figma

     

    Design roadmap and capacity planning

     

    Product design process oriented

     

    Strong VQA skills to review design library for digital products

     

    Background supporting an enterprise design system

     

    Experience with design management skills - Jira tickets, agile methodologies

     

    Able to work fast paced and support multiple stakeholders

     

    Relative educational background in design Creating smart components for a design system

     

    Knowledge of screen sizes for mobile app design
