    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Municipal Engineering to join a leading design and consulting firm specializing in transportation, community planning, environmental, energy, and construction services. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all phases of multi-disciplinary projects—from proposal through closeout—ensuring they progress on schedule and within budget. You coordinate client meetings, public hearings, and community engagement events, tailoring communication and deliverables to meet client needs and preferences. You lead cross-functional teams of engineers, technicians, and support staff across multiple locations, assigning tasks, guiding execution, and monitoring progress. Working directly with municipal staff, you help deliver Capital Improvement Programs (CIPs), often in a staff augmentation capacity. You build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring project goals are met while complying with municipal codes, environmental regulations, and permitting requirements. Your responsibilities include budgeting, resource allocation, contract management, and risk mitigation. You prepare project documentation and correspondence and maintain open communication with internal and external stakeholders. You also participate in business development by leading client meetings and networking events, while promoting continuous improvement and innovation within the municipal engineering department.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Bachelor's degree in civil engineering

     

    - PE license or ability to obtain one in 6 months

     

    - 10+ years of Municipal Project Management experience
