Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a temporary Data Governance Consultant to support an established banking client out of Chicago, IL.
Day to Day:
Develop procedures and templates for the implementation of the bank’s RDARR Guideline
Engage with report owners across Risk and Finance to create a tiered inventory of reports subject to RDARR expectations
Create a mapping of data quality controls and control effectiveness specific to RDARR reports leveraging the bank’s existing controls development, monitoring & testing program
Develop methodology, guidance, and templates for quality assurance testing of RDARR reports and underlying data
Develop an internal assessment program for adherence to RDARR expectations based on controls & assurance testing and self-assessments by risk groups and report owners

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of data governance experience, SPECIFICALLY, working with BCBS / RDARR guidelines.
Expertise in regulatory compliance assessments.
Background in banking industry (CAT I-III Financial Institution).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface cross-functionally.
Experience working in ambiguous environments. Familiar with Axium, QRM, Infomatica, and Manta.
