The role you will contribute:
The Community Relations Coordinator will be responsible for handling various departmental functions in support of the Community Relations team. Responsible for AdventHealth leadership representation throughout the Central Florida community (CFD-South) by way of board memberships, event attendance, award recognitions and leadership programs. Collaboration within the Community Impact department and with other hospital departments is essential. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

+ Coordinates Annual Week of Caring and campus service days by creating unique volunteer opportunities for team members
+ Collaborates with community-based program leaders and the Community Advocacy Team to develop partnership engagement initiatives and volunteer opportunities.
+ Creates and executes a plan of activities for volunteer engagements.
+ Promotes volunteer opportunities and shares stories of volunteers in action to marketing and communication teams to be shared through internal and external media.
+ Maintains relationships with community partners to enable team members to serve the community effectively.
+ Manages a volunteer registration system to facilitate team member involvement
+ Promotes the volunteer program brand, Care Crew, and board placement program
+ Board memberships, event attendance, award recognitions, and leadership programs.
+ Collaborates with communications and marketing teams.
+ Other duties as assigned.
+ Represents AdventHealth at community events.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
Bachelor's Degree
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and communication skills
Good problem-solving skills
Execute publicity strategies and deliver dynamic presentations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
Flexibility and ability to multi-task and meet immediate deadlines
Knowledge of AdventHealths leadership and departmental structures, collaborating as needed for updates
Preferred Qualifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP)
