Job Description
**Responsibilities** **:** Receive indirect material into Oracle and shop inventory systems, enter cost savings tracking into Excel and GE database, monitor & cycle count inventory, distribute items to shop floor and dispensing machines, perform supplier surveys, order office supplies, and manage the CBN wheel process (ship out for re-plate, receive in, update database, and work closely with Engineers design teams and other buyers).
Qualifications:
Computer literate (scanning, e-mail, Excel, APEX Apps), Oracle, Kardex, DSFM, Shop requests, Teams, and other supporting computer programs. Potential candidates will be organized, have ability to multi-task, be outgoing, personable self-motivated and team orientated. Familiar with manufacturing shop floor. Willingness to work overtime as department needs, often short notice.
Requirements** **:
+ Competence in basic math / algebra (must pass test with a 75% or greater)
+ Clerical Test (must pass with a 75% or greater)
+ Ability to work independently toward established daily goals
+ Must be able to interact with supervision and production associates
+ Vacation may be declined based on department needs
Associate will have a 90-day period to establish performance in new classification. If such performance is not established and maintained, the individual will be returned to previous job, if available.
This job is a progression-eligible role with technician-level available after 6 months and specialist-level available after 2 years if expectations are met.
