Job Description Summary
The Site Fire Alarm Engineers’ will be responsible for the overseeing of proper design, instillation, operation, and testing of the site wide Fire Alarm and EWS System.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
+ Maintain and establish standards and act as the site wide point of contact for our Fire Alarm System
+ Establish and assist in performing required maintenance and testing of our Site Wide Fire Alarm and EWS System to current codes and standards
+ Ensure all equipment is placed into our Maximo Data Base for testing and tracking
+ Work with multiple hourly teams to troubleshoot system faults and devices
+ Responsible for keeping system drawing data base up to date
+ Work with multiple design firms to ensure design is completed to our plant standards
+ Develop and maintain a positive and respectful work climate with all employees
+ Promote site Lean transformation and integrate into team culture
+ Communicate organizational outputs, team wins, and challenges to leadership
Qualifications/Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance, manufacturing, engineering, or operations)
+ State of Ohio Fire Alarm License
+ NICET Certification

+ 3 years of maintenance, manufacturing, operations, engineering, or operations
+ Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally
+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment
+ Experience working in a unionized work environment
+ Experience with Microsoft Office suite
+ Strong conflict management skills
+ Ability to manage conflicting priorities
+ Sprinkler and Fire Suppression System Knowledge
+ Experience working with multiple Honeywell Fire Alarm and EWS Systems including:
+ Honeywell XBS Computer
+ Honeywell Delta 1000
+ Honeywell FS-90
+ Honeywell Fire System Manager
+ Knowledge of older Simplex Systems
