**Schedule:** Full-Time, 1st Shift (5:00 AM – 1:30 PM, Monday–Friday)

**Pay Rate starting at:** $30.51 per hour

**Assignment:** 6-Month Consultant Role

About the Role

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced **Assembler** to join our team, partnering with a global leader in the **aerospace industry** . In this hands-on role, you’ll perform complex production assembly operations on aircraft structures and systems, ensuring that every component meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and safety. Your work will directly contribute to building world-class aircraft that define the future of flight.

What You’ll Do

+ Perform bench assembly and installation of mechanical and structural components and systems on aircraft per engineering data and manufacturing plans.

+ Execute functional tests and operational checks of aircraft systems and components; document results according to test procedures.

+ Troubleshoot and correct discrepancies using engineering drawings, schematics, and technical data.

+ Follow blueprints, work instructions, and specifications to assemble, install, remove, or replace aircraft components and hardware.

+ Maintain a clean and compliant workspace while adhering to all safety, tooling, and environmental standards.

+ Collaborate with team members and adapt to changing production priorities to meet delivery objectives.

What You’ll Bring

+ **Education/Experience:** High school diploma or GED and **4+ years of related assembly experience**

+ Equivalent combinations of education and experience (e.g., vocational training or associate degree + 2 years) also considered

+ **Technical Skills:**

+ Strong mechanical and structural assembly experience within aerospace manufacturing

+ Ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and blueprints

+ Skilled in using specialized assembly tools (e.g., rivet squeezers, crimpers, multimeters)

+ Knowledge of general shop processes including FOD prevention, ESD handling, calibration, and safety procedures

+ **Competencies:**

+ Accountability, adaptability, and commitment to teamwork

+ Ability to embrace and support change within a fast-paced environment **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
