    Job Summary

There are two primary responsibilities. The first is to code children's language production, in Spanish and in English. The second is the use of optical brain imaging, functional Near Infrared Spectroscopy to study child language and brain development as well as student training and oversight in the use of the method. The project thus requires two things. First, it requires native-level proficiency with Spanish and English languages as well as knowledge of linguistics as well as knowledge of digital transcription tools (WISPER, SALT).
